Introduction - Christ in You, Through You, and As You

God hid a mystery in plain sight. He put it in you. He reveals it through you.
He expresses it as you live. The mystery is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Your life is now a temple. Your story is a canvas. Your gifts are tools in His hands.

Paul calls this a “mystery” because it was hidden and then revealed in Jesus Christ. Through the gospel, we are brought near. We become one family.

 Christ doesn’t just visit. He dwells in our hearts by faith. This is personal. This is present. This is powerful. God will not run a copy-and-paste plan for your life. He wants to customize an experience that is exclusive to you. 

Same Jesus, same love, same Spirit. Unique path. Unique assignment. Unique fruit.

My leadership role is simple. Reveal love. Model kindness. Practice leadership with humility. Build connection.

I want to point you to a living Jesus, not just a set of church routines.

Paul is teaching us that God becomes real to you through Jesus Christ.

He calls this the mystery Christ
in us. When that truth moves from information to revelation, everything
changes.

• How do you discover your uniqueness?
• How do you pastor such incredible people?
• How have you started businesses that have actually worked?

All the glory goes to God. And these two prayers, I have prayed thousands of
times. Ephesians 1:17-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21...

When I was confused about identity, anxious about providing for my
family, and tempted to “save the world” in my own strength, I kept praying
these prayers. Little by little, Christ kept revealing the mystery. My mind
cleared. My heart softened. My steps aligned.

• Pray the Ephesians prayers out loud morning and night if you can.
• Journal one insight and one action. Keep it simple.
• Practice love and boundaries the same day you read about them.
• Expect Jesus to make the Word real in you.

• Not a puzzle to solve, but a Person to know.
• Christ in you. Christ shaping you. Christ shining through you.
• Power that shows up as love, wisdom, peace, courage, and fruit.

“Christ lives in me. The Holy Spirit strengthens me. My eyes see. My heart
understands. I walk in love. I carry peace. I live on purpose.”

Ephesians 1:16–23

“I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my
prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the
eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is
the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the

fullness of Him who fills all in all.”

Ephesians 3:14–21

grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with
might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all
generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

First Steps Before Chapter One
• Read both prayers aloud for 7 days.
• Each day, write one word God highlights.
• Ask: “Lord, how do You want to live this through me today?”
• Do one small act of obedience.
