Our Time Is Getting Shorter

Life has a way of moving faster than we expect. The years that once seemed distant suddenly become memories. Children grow up, seasons change, opportunities come and go, and before long we begin to realize that time is one of the most valuable gifts God has entrusted to us. Every person receives a measure of time, but none of us know exactly how much we have.

Many people live as though they have unlimited tomorrows. They postpone important conversations, delay acts of obedience, and assume there will always be another opportunity. Yet Scripture continually reminds us that life is a vapor. We are here for a moment and then our earthly assignment is complete.

The purpose of this book is not to create fear but awareness. God has given us this present moment as an opportunity to love, serve, grow, and represent Him in the earth. Every day is an opportunity to invest in things that have eternal value.

As believers, we are called to live with a unique perspective. We are preparing for heaven while bringing heaven to earth. We are touching two worlds at the same time. We keep our eyes on eternity while faithfully carrying out our assignments in time. As our time grows shorter, may our purpose grow stronger. Let us make every day count for Jesus.
