Let God’s attributes become visible through you.

God must be translated into substance something people can experience through the way we live.

When we speak about His love, let someone feel loved. When we speak about His mercy, let someone experience forgiveness. When we speak about His goodness, let our actions give those words meaning.

The invisible God becomes visible in the love we practice.

“No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”
1 John 4:12, KJV

Yahweh is so much greater than our understanding. We could spend eternity getting to know Him and still have reason to stand in awe. Yet we can begin connecting with Him today through the attributes He has revealed: love, kindness, patience, faithfulness, and mercy.

Sometimes we try so hard to sound deep that we overlook the beauty of simply being kind.

Learn to love. Learn to listen. Become a servant. Forgive. Lead by example. There is spiritual depth in keeping your word and treating people with dignity when you are frustrated.

Consider this simple story.

A man prayed every morning, “God, help me know You more.”

One afternoon, he noticed an older neighbor struggling to carry groceries. He was running late, but he stopped, carried her bags inside, and took a few minutes to listen.

Before he left, she smiled and said, “I’ve felt forgotten all week. Thank you for seeing me.”

Walking back to his car, he realized that his prayer was inviting him into something he could practice. He was learning about God’s compassion by making room for someone else.

That is where relationship becomes real in everyday life.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16, KJV

Prayer opens our hearts to God. Living His attributes brings what we learn into our conversations, decisions, homes, and relationships.

And as our actions begin to agree with our words, hypocrisy loses its grip. We become more willing to admit mistakes, make things right, and grow.

You do not have to know everything about Yahweh to practice the love He has already shown you.

Give your faith a face. Give kindness your hands. Give forgiveness your voice. Let your life help someone experience the goodness of God.
