The God Who Is-And the Man Who Represents Him
There are some truths that shake your theology the first time you hear them.
They challenge what you were taught growing up.
They force you to rethink God, rethink yourself, and rethink how the Kingdom actually works.
One of those truths is this:
God is Self-Existent, and man is His representative to the material world.
Let’s break this down.
1. God Reveals Himself as the Self-Existent One
When Moses asked God for His name, God didn’t say “Jehovah,” “El Shaddai,” or “Lord.”
He said:
“I AM WHO I AM.” — Exodus 3:14 (NKJV)
“I AM WHO I AM [self-existent, self-sufficient].” — Exodus 3:14 (AMP)
In Hebrew, this becomes YHWH, the Tetragrammaton.
This means:
- God has no beginning
- God has no source
- God depends on nothing
- God is sustained by nothing
- God is not created
- God is existence
Everything else has life.
God is life.
This is the deepest revelation in Scripture.
2. Self-Existence Means God Is Responsible for Himself
God doesn’t need air, food, time, energy, or resources.
He is not maintained by the universe
the universe is maintained by Him.
“For the Father has life in Himself…”
John 5:26 (NKJV)
“…life in Himself [self-sufficient].” John 5:26 (AMP)
This is why He cannot fail.
This is why He cannot weaken.
This is why He cannot change.
His existence flows from His own nature.
3. What the Self-Existent God Creates He Assigns Man to Manage
This is where most believers miss it.
God did not say:
“I will control the world.”
He said:
“Let them have dominion.” Genesis 1:26 (NKJV)
“Let them have complete authority.” Genesis 1:26 (AMP)
Which means:
- You are responsible for your choices
- You are responsible for your mind
- You are responsible for your spiritual growth
- You are responsible for your gift
- You are responsible for your environment
God created existence.
You manage your portion of it.
Heaven will not do what God assigned man to do.
4. Man Is a “Lowercase god” to Materiality
(This is the part that shocks people - but it is biblical.)
When God sent Moses to Pharaoh, He said something radical:
“I have made you as God to Pharaoh.” Exodus 7:1 (NKJV)
“As God to Pharaoh [to declare My will].” Exodus 7:1 (AMP)
Notice the grammar:
- Capital G = God (YHWH)
- Lowercase g = God’s representative
Moses was NOT God.
But Moses represented God in the physical world.
He spoke God’s will.
He exercised God’s authority.
He confronted material circumstances with spiritual power.
This is what you must understand:
You are not God (capital G). You are a god (lowercase g) to materiality.
That means:
- You represent God in the physical world
- You carry His image
- You carry His authority
- You carry His breath
- You carry His Spirit
- You enforce His will
This is why Jesus said:
“Is it not written… ‘you are gods’?”
John 10:34 (NKJV)
Not divine by nature
but divine by representation.
This is why you can dominate:
- fear
- lack
- insecurity
- depression
- sickness
- poverty
- low self-esteem
- destructive thoughts
- spiritual oppression
Because you carry the authority of the Self-Existent One into the material world.
5. Treating People With Honor Is Treating God With Honor
If God placed His breath, His image, His nature, and His Spirit inside human beings…
then dishonoring people is dishonoring God.
“If someone says ‘I love God’ but hates his brother, he is a liar.” 1 John 4:20
This is why:
- gossip destroys your destiny
- bitterness blocks your blessing
- dishonor shuts heaven
- offense disconnects you from God
If a person contains the image of God
how you treat them is a revelation of how you treat God.
6. Hebrew Scholars Emphasize YHWH Because God Breathes Himself Into Man
In Genesis 2, God moves from “Creator” to “Personal God.”
“He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.” Genesis 2:7
You became:
- God-aware
- Spirit-aware
- Self-aware
- Dominion-equipped
- Purpose-born
Heaven placed itself inside clay.
This is why man is not just another creature.
Man is a spirit-bearing image of God.
7. God Has Already Done Everything He Is Going to Do
Heaven is not waiting on God.
Heaven is waiting on YOU.
“His divine power has given us ALL things…” 2 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)
“Everything necessary for life…” 2 Peter 1:3 (AMP)
It’s finished.
God’s part is complete.
Now your choices determine your experience.
8. Your Will Determines How Heaven Manifests in Your Life
Transformation is not God magically adjusting your circumstances.
Transformation is you aligning your will with His Word.
“Be transformed by renewing your mind.” Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
Your mind becomes the gateway of heaven.
When your will aligns with God’s Word:
- your circumstances shift
- your emotions stabilize
- your habits break
- your identity elevates
- your purpose awakens
This is why mind renewal is everything.
9. You Are the Interface Between Heaven and Earth
Heaven touches earth through people, not random miracles.
“Shall men give into your bosom…” Luke 6:38
God uses:
- people
- relationships
- connections
- mentors
- opportunities
- resources
You are God’s method of touching the earth.
And the earth responds to the God inside you.
CONCLUSION
You are not God
but you are the image of the Self-Existent One.
You are not divine
but you carry the breath of the Divine.
You are not the Source
but the Source flows through you.
This is why you can dominate circumstances.
This is why you can break poverty.
This is why you can overcome insecurity.
This is why you can rise above fear.
This is why you can walk in authority.
Because when you walk into a room,
the God who IS
expresses Himself
through the person you ARE.
