The Will as the Engine of Dominion
God placed something powerful inside humanity: the will.
The will is the agency of dominion the place where authority is exercised.
Dominion is not automatic.
It is activated through governance.
Whoever governs the inner world determines the outer experience.
“Prove What Is Good” Does Not Mean Talk About It
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
“…that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
The word prove does not mean:
- Debate
- Argue
- Explain
- Theologize
To prove means:
- To test by application
- To demonstrate through experience
- To bring something into lived reality
In Scripture, truth is not proven by words it is proven by alignment.
How Truth Becomes Experience
You do not experience life based on what you believe intellectually.
You experience life based on what you govern internally.
The biblical order is consistent:
- Thoughts: information received from natural stimulus
- Ideas: organized thoughts that form concepts
- Images: mental pictures shaped by imagination
- Words: verbal agreement with those images
- Actions: repeated behavior aligned with those words
- Experience: what becomes real
This is how the will executes dominion.
Why “Change Your Thinking” Is Incomplete Telling someone to “change your thinking” is too vague.
Thoughts are vast and undefined.
Transformation happens when thoughts are:
- Organized into ideas
- Shaped into images
- Repeated through patterns
That’s why Scripture emphasizes renewal, not positivity.
Imagination Makes Vision Plain
Habakkuk 2:2
“Write the vision and make it plain…”
Plain does not mean simple - it means clear.
Noah had never seen an ark.
But once God spoke, Noah had to see it internally before he could build it externally.
Imagination bridges revelation and execution.
If the image is unclear, the action will be inconsistent.
The System Controls Through Images
Romans 12:2
“Do not be conformed to this world…”
The world is a system of operation designed to control through:
- Luxury
- Status
- Appetite
- Comparison
This is why 1 John 2:16 identifies the gateways:
- Lust of the flesh
- Lust of the eyes
- Pride of life
These are not just temptations- they are points of access into the soul.
If we win internally, we dominate the system.
If we lose internally, the system dominates us.
Why Detachment Is Sometimes Required
Jesus told the rich young ruler to sell all he had not because wealth is evil, but because his identity was attached to his possessions.
His inner worth was tied to his outer worth.
Jesus said:
“You cannot serve God and mammon.”
Mammon is not money.
Mammon is dependence on material systems for identity, security, and meaning.
When something governs your sense of worth, it becomes an inner god.
In those cases:
- Prayer alone is not enough
- Ritual is not enough
Detachment becomes the intervention.
Detachment Restores Clarity
Some believers must:
- Downsize
- Walk away from titles
- Release environments
- Reset relationships with money or status
Not because these things are sinful,
but because they have become governing forces.
Detox restores discernment.
Detachment restores dominion.
Proving What Is Good
You prove God’s will when you:
- Govern your thoughts
- Structure your ideas
- Align your words
- Discipline your actions
Only then does God’s will move from:
- Concept → experience
- Truth → reality
- Belief → manifestation
This is what Scripture means by prove.
Teaching the Next Generation
Don’t expose children only to:
- Luxury
- Cars
- Houses
- Titles
Expose them to:
- Thinking
- Discipline
- Strategy
- Relationship with God
They see the lifestyle💯
but not the invisible discipline behind it.
Conformity chases what is seen.
Transformation builds what is unseen.
And the unseen always produces the seen.
Final Truth
People don’t fail because they lack faith.
They fail because they lack internal governance.
You don’t prove what is good by saying it’s true.
You prove it by living in alignment with it.
The question is no longer:
What do you know?
The real question is:
What are you allowing?
Because dominion begins when the will is aligned and truth becomes experience.
