But scripture also teaches that there are attitudes and lifestyles that strengthen prayer and others that hinder it.
Prayer is not magic words.

Prayer has power because God responds to sincere faith. Throughout scripture ordinary people prayed and saw extraordinary results.
Elijah prayed and weather patterns changed.
Hannah prayed and gave birth to Samuel.
Jesus prayed and strengthened Himself before the cross.
The early church prayed and prisons opened.
Daniel prayed and received wisdom.
Solomon prayed and received understanding.
Prayer invites heaven into earthly situations.
Prayer is not weakness.
Prayer is dependence on God’s wisdom and strength rather than human ability alone.

Many people pray for change while refusing responsibility, discipline, healing, wisdom, forgiveness, growth, or action.
Prayer should produce movement.

David prayed, but he still faced Goliath.
Jesus prayed, but He still walked out His assignment.
Faith and obedience work together.
Sometimes God answers prayer by giving:

Sometimes the greatest miracle is not external but internal.
