A Mind That Outgrows Observation

We live in a world designed to capture our attention.

Beautiful homes.

Luxury cars.

Designer brands.

Credit cards that create urgency.

Anyone can admire a Lamborghini.

Anyone can take a picture beside it.

Anyone can dream about owning it.

But observation has never purchased one.

What if the person driving it spent twenty years mastering a craft?

What if they built seventeen businesses?

What if they created solutions that improved thousands of people’s lives?

Now we’re asking better questions.

The car isn’t the greatest asset.

The mind that produced the value is.

Look Beyond the House

The same principle applies to a beautiful home.

Most people admire the architecture.

Kingdom thinkers admire the discipline.

They ask:

What habits built this?

What sacrifices were made?

What problems were solved?

What value was created?

The process is usually more valuable than the product.

The Mind Is the Real Treasure

Archibald MacLeish expressed a profound idea when he suggested that everything truly valuable about a person is found in the mind. Everything else can be placed on a horse or loaded onto a wagon, but the mind cannot.

That thought aligns with a powerful Kingdom principle.

You can lose money and earn it again.

You can lose possessions and replace them.

You can even lose opportunities and create new ones.

But your greatest asset is the renewed mind God is developing within you.

The marketplace understands this.

The lust of the eyes begins with observation.

If you aren’t careful, what you repeatedly observe becomes what you eventually pursue.

Outgrow Inflation

Inflation is real.

Prices rise.

Expenses increase.

But your thinking must outgrow inflation.

“How can I afford what they have?”

But,

“What value can I create?”

Isaac understood this.

While everyone observed a famine, Isaac planted.

Everyone saw scarcity.

Isaac saw God’s promise.

Renew Your Mind

Observation produces conformity.
