"This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do
according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and have good success." (Joshua 1:8 NKJV)
The Adult Foundation Class aids in the vision of the Pastors by giving the adults an opportunity to receive various
teachings that can assist them in their understanding of the Word of God. By attending these classes, individuals can get a vast
array of Bible topics that can assist them in their spiritual growth.
A.R.K. (Abundantly Righteous Kids)
"Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts."
(Proverbs 24: 3 - 4 Living Bible)
Christian Outreach Center ARK (Abundantly Righteous Kids) Department is designed to meet the needs of children ages
six to twelve. Each child is taught the Word of God at his or her level of understanding thus preparing the child to make a commitment to
the things of God early. It is our primary goal to teach and instill in children the principles of Salvation, Faith, Prayer, Healing,
Prosperity, the Authority of the Believer and the Holy Spirit.
"Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts." (Proverbs 24: 3 - 4 LV)
Purpose of the Audio/Video department is to serve as media (audio & video) technicians; providing excellence in transmitting the gospel as it is preached.
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee, and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”(Job 22:28 KJV)
The Bookstore is fulfilling the vision of this ministry by having books, cd's, and music available in our store for purchases.
By partaking of these items a person can enrich their lives spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially.
BIBLICAL ADVISORS DEPARTMENT
"The spirit of the Lord rest on me, the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit
of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord." (Isaiah 11:2)
Biblical Advisor - One who gives scriptural guidance.
The purpose is to minister salvation, the Holy Spirit and reassurance of salvation to those who respond to the altar call.
"Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, holding the ministry
of faith with a pure conscience. But let these also first be proved; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless.
Likewise their wives must be reverent not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things." (I Timothy 3:8-11 NKJV)
It is the purpose of the Deacons Ministry to minister to the needs of our Pastors and Congregation. Deacons are set apart to
serve God in a variety of roles and responsibilities, remaining alert and caring for the well-being of the members.
Through prayer, loyalty and dedication, the Deacons ministry supports the vision set forth by the Pastors. It is our stated purpose to:
Be God’s Man; In God’s Place; Doing God’s Work; In God’s Way.
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance;
for ye serve the Lord Christ." (COLOSSIANS 3:23-24 KJV)
It is the purpose of the Elders and their Spouses to aid and assist the Pastors in ministering to and nurturing the members.
They will assist the Pastors wherever and whenever needed, ministering to members of the congregation in home or hospital.
They will occur as a result of requests, death in church members’ families, illness or inactive members; also, plan baptisms,
(dates, times and locations), being prepared to counsel when needed. Elders must remain faithful to all job assignments and
be accountable to the Pastors if unable to perform a certain duty or task.
“"I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness."” (Psalms 84:10b)
Purpose: to greet people as they enter services as unto the Lord, and to show the love of Jesus; to assist Pastors and guests with special needs.
"If you lay all these instructions before the brethren, you will be a worthy steward and a good minister of Christ Jesus.” (I Timothy 4:6)
It is the purpose of the Key Holders to provide access to the facility for all meetings, functions, and services for all authorized persons.
In addition, we provide a safe and secure environment by ensuring that the facilities are secured at the end of all functions.
MUSIC & ARTS MINISTRY
“They have seen Your procession, Oh God, the procession into the sanctuary.
The singers went before, the player on instruments followed after… playing timbrels”. (Psalm 68:24,25 NKJV)
Music is a vital part of our worship services. It serves several purposes such as it is used to usher in the Glory of God;
it prepares the congregation for the Word; it brings healing and inspiration to those who are hurting: it creates sensitivity
to worship and it is warfare against the enemy. The Music Dept. supports the vision by leading the members and setting the
example of being a “worshipping church.”
"Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it." (Proverbs 22:6 NIV)
The main goal of the Nursery and Preschool Ministry Department is to teach, train and oversee the children and their spiritual growth;
to continue to develop the children’s ministry into one of excellence, ministering to the needs of the children; to train and prepare
teachers and workers to minister to the children from 3 months through 5 years of age.
ORDERED STEPS DANCE MINISTRY
“Praise God in the sanctuary; … Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the lute and harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance…” (Psalm 150: 1,3-4)
The purpose of the “ordered steps” dance ministry is to minister God’s word using our earthly temples.
This is one of many methods used to reach God’s people; we are the Word in motion.
"First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgiving, be made on behalf of all men,
for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity." (I Timothy 2:1-2 NAS)
The Prayer Department is a unified liaison between the pastors, the church and the vision. They meet
once a month to intercede for salvation, healing, families, finances, church growth and spiritual growth.
P.R.P. – PEOPLE REACHING PEOPLE
"And all who believed (who adhered to and trusted in and relied on Jesus Christ) were united and (together) they had everything in common."
(Acts 2:44 AMP)
"Now the company of believers was of one heart and soul, and not one of them claimed that anything which he possessed was (exclusively) his own,
but everything they had was in common and for the use of all." (Acts 4:32 AMP)
We live in a world that is characterized by individualism and isolation. Therefore, as leaders, we must use every effective method available
to develop unity, harmony and agreement. Thus, the purpose for organizing the group is for you to assist the Pastors in ministering to the needs
of the flock: spirit, soul, body, emotionally and socially; that not one will be missed.
SUNDAY SCHOOL DEPARTMENT
“Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts.”
(Proverb 24:3-4 LV)
Sunday school provides insightful teachings to become the Christian leaders of tomorrow.
TEEN MINISTRY (R.I.O.T.)
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit,
in faith and in purity." (I Timothy 4:12 NKJ)
The purpose of the Teen Ministry is to develop youths ages 13-19, into healthy (spirit, soul, and body)
individuals, whose first love is Jesus. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God we are
to make sure each youth learns and demonstrates:
Knowledge of who God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are.
Who they are in Christ.
Who the enemy is.
How to walk in their authority as believers.
Benefits of tithing, giving, and receiving.
How to develop wholesome, godly relationships.
Abstinence from pre-marital sex, drugs, alcohol, tobacco and same sex (homosexual and lesbian) relationships.
How to boldly witness their faith.
Good grooming and personal hygiene.
Respect for the house of God, reverence for God and things of God.
Respect, reverence and obedience for/to parents, teachers, and all in authority over them.
"If you lay all these instructions before the brethren, you will be a worthy steward and a good minister of Christ Jesus.”
(I Timothy 4:6)
It is the purpose of the Usher Department to provide a warm greeting to each person and to aid in the management of flow and order of the service.
In addition, provide a safe and secure environment for our Pastors and worshipping congregation to facilitate the teaching of God’s Word and
spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
